...is a place in Cincinnati near the Downtown area. It is also a band that I used to follow that is from Cincinnati. They drive me nuts with their touchy feely-ness sometimes, but in general, I enjoy their music. I went to two or three of their Christmas concerts that were memorable concerts for me. They used to have a guitar player that is top notch who left the band- Ric Hordinski. Here is a link to some of his stuff which is phenomenal:

On Sunday, I wore a pink shirt to church, and a close friend (MB) told me "You couldn't pay me to wear that shirt." Well here is the next girliest thing I'll say- Over the Rhine has some of the prettiest songs I know. Check out this video...
Also, for a great cover of Leonard Cohen's song Hallelujah, check this out:
And here is a video for the prettiest song I have ever heard:

Ok - typical Adam - you start blogging again and don't say anything:) Or maybe I'm just not important enough to tell:) Anyway -I know you think commenting on blogs is "weird" but I always enjoy reading your posts - very insightful and interesting...and I really enjoyed these videos. I've heard several different people sing "Hallelujah", and this was definitely the prettiest version I've heard. Great song.
Yeah- it is very well done. Her voice is haunting. The problem with OTR is that they only do one thing- slow ballads. They do them very well, but after an hour and a half in a concert, I'm like- jeez speed it up. They had a guy playing with them back in the 90's (Ric Hordinski, look him up) who was a nasty guitar player, and they ditched him! The reason they are respected by other artists like Sarah M and others is that they are good song writers, but they lack mass market appeal.....
